Rickey Dean “Bootsie” Smith, age 52, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013 in Nashville, TN. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, disabled, and a member of Park Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Smith served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margitta Ruck Smith.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 16, 2013, with Ricky Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN with full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made in honor of Mr. Smith at First Farmers and Merchants Bank where a memorial account has been established.
