Funeral service for Rick Sharp age 62 of Hartselle will be Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 3:00pm at Central Baptist Church in Decatur with Dr. Rob Jackson, Rev. Ben Bates and Rev. Pearl Jenkins officiating with burial in the Hartselle City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 12:30 till service time on Wednesday at the Church.
Mr. Sharp, who died on Monday, July 20, 2015 at his home in Hartselle, was born December 6, 1952 in Decatur, Alabama to Lloyd Carnell Sharp and Violet Billings Sharp. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and played in the Praise Band. He was an accomplished musician and was the music reviewer for the Alabama Baptist Association. He was a 1971 graduate of Priceville High School. Rick was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.

Six sons;
Anthony Sharp of Mobile, Brian Sharp (Regina) of Hartselle, Christopher Sharp (Mallory) of Madison, Brandon Sharp of Hartselle, Jeff Bates (Jessica) and Rev. Ben Bates (Paula) all of Hartselle.
Two Brothers:
Mike Sharp (Sandra) of Northport and Kip Iles (Penny) of North Ft, Myers, FL.
Two half-brothers; Hill Iles of Pineville, LA. And Emory Iles of North Ft. Myers, FL. and a half-sister; Beth Iles of Cape Coral, FL.
Eleven Grandchildren: Austyn, Sofia, Hunter, Baron, Chloe, Nathan, Cameron, Mackenzie, Ansley, Tristan and Graylee
