Rick Gibson, 52, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023, at his home in Pontotoc. Rick was born on July 4, 1971, in Thomaston, GA moving to Mississippi as a teenager where he met the love of his life, Tammy. Together they created a wonderful life full of love, happiness, and family. He was an excellent husband, father, grandfather “Pop Pop”, and provider to his family and loved ones.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Gibson; his daughter, Macy McCaine (Brandon); son, Dillan Gibson (Lizzie); grandson, Colton Lee Roy McCaine; his brother, Clifford Gibson, Jr. (Amanda); sister, Patricia Gibson; and a multitude of nieces and nephews, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be Monday, November 20, 2023, at 11AM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Wayne Cobb officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 19th 5-8PM and Monday, November 20th 10AM until service time. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mathew Gibson, Preston Gibson, Cameron Lavigne, Brandon McCaine, Billy Kidd, Dan McGregor, and Chris Collier.
