Richard W SeemanRichard W. Seeman passed away August 18, 2022.  Richard was born in Bronxville, New York but spent the last 28 years in Madison, Alabama.  He touched the lives of many while being involved in many organizations within the community such as 22 years of membership at Asbury Church, Walk to Emmaus, Indian Princesses organization, and traveling with his family for their daughter Leigh’s club soccer tournaments.  He was a disciple, a handyman, an Auburn fan and loved to spend time with his family.

 

Richard graduated from University of Wisconsin- Stout Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Industrial Engineering and Masters in Business Administration from Nova University. He retired from the United States Navy after serving for 22 years where he served on submarines and in other areas. Richard was employed at Raytheon for 20 years, prior to his retirement.

 

Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Adair Seeman; their daughter Leigh Leiner (JT); his brother, Robert Seeman (Georgia).  Richard is also survived by several nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

 

Visitation will be Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 11:00a.m.-12:00p.m. at Asbury Church, 980 Hughes Road, Madison, AL. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12:00p.m.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tunnel to Towers, 2361 Hylan Blvd, NY 10306 or your favorite charity.

 

The family would like to thank the staff at CCI, Huntsville Hospital, and Berryhill Funeral Home  for their compassionate support and treatment during Richard’s short battle with cancer.
