Richard Thomas Knight,47, passed away Wednesday. Mr. Knight was a logist with Redstone Arsenal. He was a US Army veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Survivors include his wife: Angela; two daughters: Jessica and Alexandra Knight; three sons: Griffith, Brandon and Joshua; two grandchildren: Izabell Knight and Emmett Guthrie; parents: Dave and Gail Knight; sister: Karen Knight; and brother: Kevin Knight.
The family will be receiving friends Wednesday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a 7:00 p.m. memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
