richardFuneral service for Elder Richard T. Alexander, 76, of Moulton will be noon, Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at Freeman Tabernacle Baptist Church with Bishop Jerry Townsend officiating and inhumation to follow in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at Reynolds Funeral Home. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral.

Mr. Alexander, who died Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born February 25, 1938, in Lawrence County Alabama to the union of the late Lucy Magnolia Hawkins Taylor and Booker T. Alexander. Richard graduated from the Old Moulton High School were he played football for the Moulton Gophers.

He was the founder and owner of Richard Alexander Construction Company and he was a concrete finisher.

Richard leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rosa Alexander; seven children, LaVonne Williams, David Alexander, Warnell Qualls, Kim Alexander, Michael Alexander, Alethea (Dewayne) Williams, Lashonda Alexander and one sister, Carlean (Earnest) Young, and a host of in-laws,grandchildren, other relatives and friends
