Richard “Ricky” Allen Smith, 67, of Iuka, MS passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He enjoyed working with his hands, doing anything from woodworking, beating and a banging, welding, metal fabrication, to working on cars. Ricky loved to run heavy machinery. He also enjoyed being outdoors, canoeing, being on the lake, and spending time with his family, especially his grand girls. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Smith; his sons, Jeremiah Smith (Osiris) and Cody Michael Sistare (Cassie); his daughter, Kelly Lynn Hammond; his sisters, Sandra Smith Waldrop (Larry), Jennifer Smith, and Ruthie Koontz (Ron); his brothers, Jimmy Smith (Corrine), David Smith (Penny), and Billy Smith; his grandchildren, Makayla Smith and Elena Smith; a special friend, Gatlin Bolton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Carl A. “Corky” and Betty Francine Wingo Smith. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Services are scheduled for 10am, Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Rodney Windham. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Smith, Gatlin Bolton, Alex Smith, and Austin Smith. Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation in Ricky’s honor
