Richard Lance Gist, 65, of Florence, died on Thursday, September 01, 2016. A graveside service were held privately at Tri-CitiesMemorial Gardens with Rev. Ashley Pettus officiating.
Richard was a craftsman, a sheet metal worker, who had worked on major construction projects through TVA.
Richard is survived by his wife Tricia Gist; a daughter Harriet Chapel Gist King and husband Phillip of Florence; grandchildren, who loved him as “Poppie”, Peyton , Britton and Preston King; father-in-law Mason Ingram of Florence.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that your donations and memorials be that of going out and being a blessing to someone else that may need your help. Pay it forward or be that hand that reaches out to help someone up when they are down.
