Richard James Wrights, Sr.of Waynesboro, TN was born August 1, 1960 in Middletown, NY.
Mr. Wright was a former police officer with the City of Collinwood, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, and had been a truck driver for Turnbo Trucking. He was a United States Army veteran and was a member of the Clifton Pentecostal/Holiness Church in Clifton, Tennessee.
Mr. Wright departed this life on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at his home at the age of 52 Years, 2 Months, 30 Days.
He is survived by sons, Richard J. Wright Jr. of Garden City, MI, Michael Aaron Wright of St. Joseph, MO, and Daniel Wayne Wright of Huntsville, TX; grandchildren, Clark, Chloe, and Gavin James Wright; his parents, Leory D. and Mabel Myers Wright of Waynesboro, TN; brothers, Charles F. Wright of Onalaska, TX and Wayne D. Wright of Clifton, TN; a sister, Robyn L. Rich of San Antonio, TX; aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held on November 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Waynesboro in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Marty Potts, Sandy Potts officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
