Mr. Richard Harold Green, age 88, of McMinnville, TN, died Wednesday, October 05, 2022 at his home. He was born March 03, 1934, in McMinnville, TN, and was a retired truck driver with Eck Miller out of Indiana. He was proud to say that he had driven over 1 million miles. Richard was also a farmer, a member of Madison Street Baptist Church, and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving with the 82nd Airborne. He was preceded in death by parents Allen Carson and Octa Reims Morton Green.
Mr. Green is survived by his children Faron (Patsy) Green and Debbie Young, grandchildren Bradley Sullens, Drew Green, and Austin Green, 2 great grandchildren, and special cousin Billie Faye (Richard) Vaughn.
Graveside service and interment is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 07, 2022, at Faulkner Cemetery at Pike Hill. Chaplain Rachel Cantrell will officiate. Military Grave Rites will be administered by American Legion Post 173 and V.F.W. Post 5064. There will be no visitation at the funeral home as family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
