Richard Harold Clark (Rich) died unexpectedly on March 13, 2025 at his residence in Tanner, AL. He was only 54 years old. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Rich had a long-time heart health issue. Rich was born on June 19, 1970 (Father’s Day) in Decatur, AL. His memory lives on with his family.
Rich is survived by his two sisters, Sheila Posey & Nancy Gray (Joey); uncle, David Clark; nieces, Bridget Johnson (Scottie) and Jennifer Holmes (Jason); nephew, Jason DeVoe; great niece, Hailey Johnson; great nephews, Hunter Croxell and Shawn Johnson; cousins, James Vann, Tammy Doss (Les), and Kathy Evans (Scott), and best friend, Jackson Price.
Rich was predeceased by his father, William (Billy) Clark; his mother, Magdalene (Mullally) Clark; brother-in-law, Bobby Posey; grandparents, Ernest and Agnes Clark and Noah and Zonie Mullally; aunts, LaNell Vann and Becky Brasher; uncle, Jim Vann and cousins, Rodney Clark and Donald Clark.
Rich grew up in Decatur and later moved to Tanner, AL where he spent many years working for the Pryor family We were blessed to have Rich for the 54 years of his life. He passed away peacefully at his home in Tanner, AL. He was a gentle person with a sense of humor. He enjoyed a simple quiet life with his pet dogs. Thanks to Jackson Price for being able to be there as a good friend for many years. Rich had chosen years prior to be cremated quietly in lieu of services.
