Richard Halligan, 81, of Arab, Alabama, passed away on September 11, 2021. He was born May 10, 1940, in Minnesota.

Mr. Halligan was an engineer and worked as a government contractor for many years. His work took him to places all over the world, and Richard enjoyed sharing his adventures with anyone who would listen. He was also an accomplished musician and he played the piano, accordion, and the guitar. Richard loved to sing as well. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and he was blessed with a large family and enjoyed their company. Mr. Halligan was a one of a kind, and he will be missed by many.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Jody; and his brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his sons, Terry and Jeanette Halligan, Shawn and Rachel Halligan, Duane and Valorie Halligan, Danny and Angela Halligan, Kevin Halligan, Craig Halligan; daughter, Lalein Halligan; stepchildren, Jennine Rosen and James McDonough; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
