Richard Glenn Mayfield, 74, of Gadsden, AL passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Attalla, AL. Rev. L. Dale Butler will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation services is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Mayfield was a Vietnam veteran. He served in the United States Army, which from he was honorable discharged. Richard had a love for cats. He will be missed deeply by his family and friends.
Richard is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Mayfield.
He is survived by his aunt, Mae Beck; children, Dianne Lasseter, Melba Jenkins, Darlene Price, Darrell Jenkins, and James Jenkins; and good friend, Mike Small.
