Richard Dee Glover was born February 23, 1938 in Stantonville, TN, the son of the late Hurbert Dee and Tinnia Claira Bell Pitts Glover.
He was united in marriage to Brenda Henson on September 14, 2002. He was a member of Union Grove Methodist Church. Mr. Glover served our country in the Navy for 8 years as Master Chief Sergeant and retired from the Army after 22 years as Army Sergeant First Class. He also had worked for Harmons Manufacturing as a tool and dye machinist. Richard had a passion for donating to various charities and loved his dog Harley.
Mr. Glover departed this life on June 28, 2014 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 4 Months, 5 Days.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Henson Glover of Selmer, TN; two daughters, Carla Lynne Sisco and husband Wayne of Selmer, TN, Alana Kay Glover of WI; a step daugter, Susan Howie and husband Tim of Adamsville, TN; a sister, Essie Talley of Olive Branch, MS; a sister-in-law, Martha Younger of Corinth, MS; two grandchildren, Terry and Shawn Drew; two step grandchildren, Mitchell and Matthew Howie; two great grandchildren, Nolan and Jocelyn Drew.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Glover was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Washum; two brothers, Eugene Younger and Grover Younger; and a grandchild, Nathan Drew.
