Richard Allen Forsyth, age 71 of Lester, Al, passed away Sunday January 21, 2024 at Athens Limestone Hospital.Richard was born April 20, 1952 in Athens, AL to David Eugene and Margaret Ann Towensend Forsyth. He was retired from General Motors, loved talking and telling stories, watching the Discovery Channel, spending time with his grandchildren, and would help anyone in need. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, sister Barbara Ann Forsyth, granddaughter Mallie Ann Forsyth.
Graveside service will be 11am Friday January 26, 2024 at New Salem Cemetery with interment to follow.
Survivors include his wife Angie Forsyth of Lester, sons Jeremiah Forsyth (Kari) of Athens, Joseph Forsyth (Tonya) of Elkmont, daughters Britney Burgreen ( J.R.) of Athens, Bevin Page (Andy) of Athens, grandchildren Chestney, Haven, Kase, Harper, Hilee, Ellie, Braden, Hank Isla, Georgia Kalir, Riley, Lily, numerous other in-laws, family and friends.
