A Celebration of Life Service for Rhonda Jenkins Brown, age 60, of Mellow Valley will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Gilead Community Church with Brother Johnny Newell and Brother Charles Bellew officiating.
Mrs. Brown passed away at her residence on Monday May 13, 2024. Rhonda was born in Georgia and graduated from Henry County High School. She had a God given gift of service, she always put others first, and had a passion for helping children in need and working on various charity events, such as the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama and Heart of Dixie Harley-Davidson “Revin 4 Research” rides. Rhonda would help anyone she could regardless of the need.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Brown of Mellow Valley, her sister Tina Jenkins (Steve) of Ashland, her dad, Ronald Jenkins (Valerie) “Val” of McDonough, Ga.,several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Johnson Eppinger and step-father Joe Eppinger.
Flowers will be accepted however the family prefers donations in Rhonda’s memory be made to “Revin 4 Research” at www.bcrfa.org or the charity of your choice.
Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville is in charge of the arrangements.
