Rhonda Annette Cathey, age 56, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, and of the Methodist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Willie and Mary T. Barnett Cathey; her daughter, Keiana Cathey Reed; one sister, Faye Dobbins; and two brothers, Sam Simpson and Willie James Cathey.
She is survived by her loving companion, David Hogues of Lawrenceburg, TN; one granddaughter, Jada Reed of Murfreesboro, TN; three brothers, John Cathey, Larry Cathey (Darlene), and Michael Cathey (Cinthia), all of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sisters, Elizabeth Spivey and Mary Cathey, both of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son-in-law, Bryce Reed of Murfreesboro, TN; brother-in-law, Roy Dobbins of Lawrenceburg, TN; sister-in-law, Daisey Cathey of Lawrenceburg, TN; special friend, Larry Gabriel of Kansas; host of special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 5, 2022, with Elizabeth Spivey officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
