Rhodaphine Ledbetter Shelton, age 95 of Scottsboro passed away on April 4, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ryan Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
She was a charter member of Agape Baptist Church.
Mrs. Shelton is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Wall, and Barbara (Larry) Cofield; grandchildren, Russell Wall and Victoria (Kenny) Harris; six great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Marie) Ledbetter; brother-in-law, Glen Gant; and sister-in-law, Doris Waldrop; several nieces and nephews as well as many special friends.
Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Howard Shelton; grandson, Michael Elder; sister, Jane Gant; brothers, Edgar and Plessie D. Ledbetter.
The family would like to thank her many friends and the staff and employees of Rosewood Manor for their kindness during the last weeks.
