Rhoda Templeton Smith, age 81 of Eastaboga, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born in Tennessee on April 30, 1942. Her parents were Ed Stultz and Marion Knowls, who preceded her in death.
Rhoda was also preceded in death by her first and second spouse, Donald Templeton, Jr. and Ramon L. Smith; grandson, Marcus Pugh; great grandson, Connor Herman; brother, Johnny; sister, Joann; and daughter in law, Cathy Woods.
She is survived by her children, Rhonda Stone (the late Jerry) of Tennessee, Garnette Dix (Tim) of Anniston, Donita Pugh of Anniston, Donald Templeton, II (the late Cathy) of Michigan, and Ramona Johnston (Kevin) of Eastaboga; grandchildren, Jerry Dix, Angie Pembrooke, Christy Dix, Jeff Dix, Walter Johnson, Mary Johnston, Jessica Kcopp, Kevin Johnston, II, Donald Templeton, III, and Brad Wood; 15 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in the Chapel at Cremation Services of East Alabama, 733 White Plains Road, Anniston, AL 36207, with Chaplain Greg officiating.
