Rex Mills, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on October 25, 2024, in Huntsville, AL. Born on March 24, 1943, in Rockport, TX, Rex was a pillar of strength and love to all who knew him.
Rex dedicated his life to his family and country, proudly serving in the US Army until his retirement. He later achieved his Master’s degree in Business, exemplifying his commitment to personal growth and professional excellence. Rex’s loving nature, generosity, and selflessness were the cornerstones of his character, touching the lives of many.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Karin Mills; his cherished daughter and son-in-law, Trish and Dave Newman; his adored granddaughter, Ashley Newman; and his treasured great-granddaughter, Brinley Newell. Rex’s memory will be carried on in the hearts of his family and friends, whose lives he enriched with his unwavering love and kindness.
A memorial service will be held for Mr. Mills Hampton Cove Funeral Home with the date and time to be announced in the near future.
