Reta Jean Edwards, 45, Haleyville, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Lakeland Community Hospital, Haleyville.
Reta loved going to play Bingo and visiting with her friends. She loved her family very much and will be missed by all.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 02, 2013 at Ephesus Baptist Church, Pebble Community (Haleyville), with the service following at 2:00 p.m. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Jeff Whitten. Burial will be at Old Enon Cemetery, Lynn, AL.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Michael Dane Garrison; sons, Carl Wayne Edwards, Cody Dane Garrison (Amanda); daughters, Christal LaShae Edwards, Charity Nichole Garrison (Brandon Rose), Courtni Maree Garrison, Caroline LaRae Garrison; grandchildren, Devin Max Williams, Dawton Wayne Williams, Jadden Carter Williams, Jada Rose Williams, Emma Jean Garrison; brothers, Robert Ray Edwards (Patricia Lynn), Rickey Wayne Edwards (Wanda); sisters, Carolyn “Renae” Edwards (Junior Garrison), Ramona Edwards Siquina (Diego); several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Ray Edwards; mother, Betty Jean Farris Edwards; granddaughter, Kylie Nichole Rose; brother, Randall Roy Edwards.
The pallbearers will be Carl Garrison, Cody Garrison, Brandon Rose, Justin Garrison, Daniel Busby, Avis Garrison, James Kennedy, and Timmy Garrison. Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
