Funeral for Ressey “RV” Kilpatric, 75, will be Sunday, March 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Ronald Kilpatric officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
Mr. Kilpatric, who died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Decatur-Morgan Hospital Main, was born December 20, 1937, in Alabama to Olin and Virgie Kilpatric. He was a retired City of Decatur employee. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and 5 sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Audrey Kilpatric; two sons, Olen Kilpatric and Bobby Kilpatric, both of Decatur; five daughters, Deborah Hawkins (Steve) of Decatur, Shirley Brown of Eva, Kay Kilpatric of Cullman, Cyndria Tidwell of Louisiana, and Audrey Drane (Mark) of Decatur; on e brother, LB Kilpatric of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
