Renata Jean Woolbright, age 69, of Madison, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at Skyline Medical Center. Ms. Woolbright’s wishes were to be cremated and the family will hold a Memorial Service at a later date in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Dr. Bill Palmiter officiating.
Ms. Woolbright was born December 25, 1954, in Merced, CA to Frank Baldwin Hooper and Lettie Lusky Hooper. She was a cashier with Kroger grocery stores most of her life and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Ms. Woolbright was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Kaylor; her father, Frank Baldwin Hooper; and her step-father, William Bryan.
She is survived by her mother, Lettie Bryan; grandson, Darean Parrish; 2 great grandchildren, Lilly Parrish, and Gideon Redwine; step-brothers, Raymond Eugene “Ray” Bryan, William Edward “Eddie” Bryan, and Troy Wayne Bryan; and a step-sister, Teresa Bryan.
In lieu of flowers, the family request, that memorial donations be made in her honor to the charity or church of the donor’s choice.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier is in charge of these arrangements.
