Rena Mae Simons, 95, of Kennesaw, Ga., passed away May 26, 2013.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, from 2-3 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Rodney Shewbart is officiating.
Survivors include daughters, Faye McBee, Judy Kinser and Martha Perdue;
son, Ronnie Simons;
grandchildren, Alicia Wylie (Barry), Shane McBee, Jeff Bryan (Becky), Laurie Pennington (Michael), Keisha Morris (Tim), Josh Perdue, Chris Simons (Kristen), Tommy Pillow, Scott Pillow (Karen) and Jon Perdue;
16 great-grandchildren; a host of loving nieces; nephews; and other beloved family.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Simons was a member of First Baptist Church of Crawfordville, Ga., and an avid seamstress who truly enjoyed working with her hands.
