Remains Recovered In October Those Of Missing Colbert County Man

COLBERT COUNTY-The remains of a Colbert County man, Leon Tidwell, 72 who disappeared in June of 2015 have been identified.

The autopsy report has been completed on the remains that were found in October by hunters in a wooded area near the place where Tidwell was last seen off of Riverton Rose Trail. Colbert County Sheriff Frank Williamson confirmed the findings on Tuesday, January 5.

Tidwell had health issues according to his family.
