Regina Wells Van Devender, 50, of Sheffield, died Friday, December 14, 2018. There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Gardens on December 21, 2018 with Robert Mitchell officiating.
Gina was a native of Sheffield, a UNA graduate with a Masters in counseling from Athens State that she would use daily to help others. She was a sister of Phi Mu and an ATO Sweetheart at UNA. She was an avid photographer and enjoyed the outdoors, music, playing drums and the piano.
Gina was a loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt. Her world revolved around her son, Gavin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Patty Wells; and brother, Tim Wells.
Survivors include her husband, Drew Van Devender; son, Gavin Van Devender; brother, Mark Wells; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Honorary pallbearers are Charles Van Devender III, Ladd Van Devender, Bryan Van Devender, and Mark Wells.
