Regan Long Jr, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, affectionately known as Bubba, passed away on Friday.   He was 43.   He was a loving son, momma’s boy, brother, and father, and had a heart of gold – always willing to help others.

Bubba enjoyed listening to music, was passionate about fishing, and loved animals.   He was also a gifted craftsman and could design and build anything.   He was most-proud of his children and will be remembered for the love he had for them.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Huey P. Long Sr and Glen & Mary Sigler;  his uncles, Butch Long, Terry Sigler, Dempsey Merchant, and Bobby Sigler;  his aunt:  Brenda Sigler.

Surviving family members include his children, Tyra Long, Devin Long, Caylee Long, and Tori Long; His parents, Regan Dilane Long Sr & Dianne Long; his brother, Cody (Jessi) Long;  his sister, Crystal (Matthew) Canada; his grandmother, Martha Long;  his fiance, Paula Katherine;  his nieces and nephews: Brandon Long, Carson Long, Abygail Canada, Bryson Canada, Colt Canada, and Dolson Long;  his grandson, David Wilbourn; his aunts and uncles:  Kayla (Robert) Rachal, Sharon (Paul) Thornhill, Vicki Long, Donna Long, Tommy Sigler, Latricia Merchant, Allen (Sadie) Sigler, Carl (Joyce) Sigler, Doug (Karen) Sigler, Tammy (John) Breaux, and Angie Sigler. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 3pm until 6pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Monday at 1pm at the funeral home.  Burial will follow and will be in New Sharon Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Cody Long, Brandon Long, Carson Long, Matthew Canada, Thomas Moorehead, Justin Layne, Anthony Locke, Devin Long, Damon Stone, Matt Lemley, Dan Treece, Quinn Fletcher, and Greg Fletcher.
