Rebecca Roland Brock was born July 31, 1921, in the Pleasant Hill community in Giles County, Tennessee and passed away on October 25, 2022 at Elk River Health & Rehab center in Ardmore, Tennessee.

She recently celebrated her 101st birthday. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at a young age and attended Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. She later joined Ardmore United Methodist church in Ardmore, Tennessee.

She worked in the textile industry in different locations. She was a farm wife and she enjoyed going to church, her animals, gardening, sewing and spending time with family and friends.

She was the fourth child of seven brothers and sisters.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, James Howard Brock; her parents, Luther Upshaw Roland and Mae Wallace Roland; brothers, Clifford Arnold Roland (Ethel), Charles W. Roland (Millie), and Ollie Roland; sisters, Julia Roland Hargrove (Malcolm), Christine Roland Hogan (Thaniel), Josephine Roland Mitchell (Silas); nephews Carl Roland (Elaine) and Gerald Smith.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Polly Billions Roland; nieces, Nellie Hogan Smith, Barbara Hargrove Darke (Jack), Paulette Mitchell and Linda Mitchell Keith (Jim); nephew, Leonard Roland (Ella); and many other family and friends.

The family would like to thank Debbie Eubanks, her pastor, and her church family for their visits and prayers and Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home for their assistance.

The family would like to thank the team at Elk River Health and Rehab for the compassionate care shown to our loved one.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama. The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM in the Chapel with Debbie Eubanks officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Ardmore, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Jim Keith, Scott Keith, Pat Keith, Tim Smith, J.D. Randolph, and Barry Foster.
