Rebecca Lynn Kelly, 53, passed away August 29, 2023, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. Ms. Kelly was born in Jackson, MS, on November 18, 1969, to Earl and Lynn Jordan. Rebecca was a long-time employee of United Furniture and later Delta Furniture where she worked as an inspector. Her hobbies included reading, watching documentaries, and listening to true crime podcasts. Her most joyful moments were spent spending time with her grandchildren and her great nieces and nephews.
Ms. Kelly is survived by her brother, Buddy Jordan(Janice); her sister, Chasity Tutor; her son, Matthew Sims(Katelyn); daughter, Lindsay Hughes(Chris); grandsons, Braylon Sims, Ryker Sims, and Raylon Hughes; one granddaughter, Riley Sims; nephews, Brennan Tutor(Kristen), Nathan Tutor, Andrue Tutor(Arianna), Adam Tutor(Ginger), Tyler Jordan, Ricky Westmoreland, and Tyler Dowdy; nieces, Tori Dowdy and Jennifer Thompson(Annie).
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 2nd from 6-8PM and Sunday, September 3rd from 3PM until service time of 4PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Breanan Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Eddington Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Andrue Tutor, Nathan Tutor, Chris Hughes, Ricky Westmoreland, Tyler Dowdy, and Kyle Shettles. Honorary Pallbearers will be Braylon Sims, Jayden Westmoreland, and Raylen Hughes.
