Rebecca Jones, 62, of Skyline, Alabama, peacefully went to be with the Lord Tuesday morning, December 3, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Rebecca was truly a special person, always radiating warmth and kindness wherever she went. Her gentle spirit touched the hearts of everyone she encountered, and her unwavering love for family and friends created an environment of comfort and support. Those who had the privilege of knowing her will deeply miss her infectious smile and caring nature. Rebecca had a passion for Alabama football, and her enthusiasm was infectious—she would light up at the mention of “Roll Tide!” Her legacy of love and dedication to her family will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Wayne Jones Sr.; her sister, Cynthia Woodall; her niece, Labristia Little; her great-nephew, Bowen Clark; and her grandparents, Ilene and Jessie Morris, and Pern and Emmett Jones.
She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Jones; brothers, Rickey (Carol) Jones and Bobby (Von) Jones Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Nathan Jones, Tashina Jones, Crystal (John) Clark, Cecilia Jones, Cassidy (Mallory) Woodall, Alana (Ryan) Scarberry, Hunter (Alexis) Jones, Faith Jones, and Hope Jones; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews. Special friends include April Estes and Karen Whitaker.
Pallbearers: Nathan Jones, Cassidy Woodall, Hunter Jones, Cameron Jones, Chandler Jones, Landon Guest, Jordan Guest, John Clark, and Ryan Scarberry.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Bro. Duran Teague officiating. Burial will follow in the Sisk Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
