Rebecca Jane Haughton Benton, 59, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born on November 30, 1965 in Jasper, AL, to Richard and Nancy Avery Haughton. She graduated Hatley High School and was married to Scott Benton. Becky was a staple in the fast-food industry working at KFC, Jacks, and Hardee’s in Amory and she always met everyone with a smile. She loved joking around making others laugh. Even while her health was declining, she kept her spirts up and had a positive attitude, knowing she would be a winner either way. She enjoyed playing Greedy, watching television and movies. In addition, eating out was a favorite activity and being with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren is something she greatly cherished. She attended the Amory Church of God.
