Rebecca Jackson, aged 57, of Huntsville, passed away peacefully in her sleep, her family with her, on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024. She was born on May 23rd, 1966, in Huntsville, to Russell and Esmeralda Miranda (née de Medeiros) Jackson.
She is survived by her mother, Miranda; son, Vincent Ethan LaRoux; two brothers, Russell and his wife, JoBeth, and Artur; nephew, Alex Jackson; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her father Russell in 1992.
She graduated from Lee High School in 1984 and worked at Bethco before using some of her mechanical talents to make a living buying, repairing, and selling cars. She was very dedicated, very sweet and kind, extremely supportive of those she knew, loved being outdoors or going to the beach, was a loving mother, daughter, and aunt, and was an amazing person whose time here was far too short.
A private service for family and close friends will be held on Monday.
