Rebecca Harden passed away Friday, October 17, 2014, at the age of 65. Becky was a devoted wife and mother with a gentle and quiet spirit. She approached life with a calm disposition and an understated amusement in the situations around her. In her early years, she was actively involved in Girl Scouts, an accomplished cellist in the Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra, an avid reader with an excellent vocabulary and a loyal correspondent with her German pen pal. In more recent years, she loved drinking morning tea and enjoyed viewing mysteries, crime dramas and comedies on television. The grace with which she coped with a progressively debilitating medical condition was indicative of her character. Becky displayed great patience with others. She was sensitive and insightful, anticipating her family’s wants and needs, leading to a remarkable talent for giving gifts. She was full of an amazing inner strength and a deep love for her family. In turn, Becky was greatly loved and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugo and Helen Frankenberg and sister, Linda Frankenberg.
Becky is survived by her husband of 39 years, William Harden; son, Scott (Kritsana) Harden; daughter, Lisa Harden; brother, Phillip Light; and grandchild, Katie Harden.
