Rebecca Faye Teachworth, age 61 of Double Springs, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024 at her residence.
She was born September 9, 1962 in Birmingham, Alabama to James Stewart and Temple Martin.
Visitation will be Sunday, Jun 9, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs where the memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
Rebecca is survived by husband, Melvin Teachworth; mother, Temple Martin (John); Daughter, Gladys Hyche (Brandon); son, Chistopher Teachworth; step-daughter, Brandi Murphy; and step-son, Melvin Teachworth III; grandchildren, Kaylee Hyche, Logan Hyche, Emmery Hyche, Joshua Kilgore, Ashleigh Teachworth, Rylee Guerra, Shaylynn Muir, Peyton Presley, and Cayden Mann; sister, Sharon Raines.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Stewart; brothers, James Stewart, Rodney Stewart; sisters, Rita Kelly, and Tracey Stewart.
