Rebecca Black

Rebecca Black, 73, of Sumiton, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at New Horizon Chapel, with Pastor Lane Sargent officiating.
Becky was born to the late Elta and Ruth Black. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Black, and his wife, Shirley, and sisters Joan Wingo and Judy Mills.
She is survived by her sister Faye Carden and several nieces and nephews that she raised as her own. She was the head cheerleader while at Dora High School, graduating in 1969. Becky was a huge Alabama football fan. Roll Tide Roll.
