Rebecca Ann Kell McMurtrie, 68, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022.
After a long fought battle with Alzhimer’s for the past 10 years, Mrs. Mcmurtrie has gone on to be with her husband, who passed away April 10, 2022
Mrs. McMurtrie is survived by her daughter; Ashley Long (Justin), son; Matthew McMurtrie, grandchildren; Adalyn, Graeson, Lockridge, Paislie, and Behr; brothers, Gary Kell (Eunice), and Glenn Kell (Wanda); sister, Veta Kell, and a number of nieces, nephews and great-nieces, and nephews.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Louis McMurtrie, and parents, Virgil and Christine Kell.
Mrs. McMurtrie grew up in Gadsden, AL. She was a faithful employee as a respiratory therapist at Crestwood Hospital for 40 years. Every year she would always look forward to going to Big Spring Jam with her friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 2nd from 3:00-4:00pm. Funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm at Berryhill Funeral Home Chapel.
