Rebecca Ann Adams, 76, of Elkmont, passed away on Thursday, October 10th, 2024, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. She was born in Athens, Alabama on May 29th, 1948, to Marvin and Mildred (Barker) Meadows.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter Cynthia Johnson (Willie); son Barry Adams (Donya); grandchildren Nikki Miller (Bubba), Erica Hale, Hannah Grace Jackson, Tessa Jackson, Ella Jackson, Dharma Johnson, Willie Johnson II, Kharma Johnson, Emerald Johnson, and Jaamal Lovelace; great-grandchildren Billy Ray Miller IV, Aubrey Miller, and Remi Johnson; and sister Dianne Spence Hall.
She is preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Mildred Meadows; husband Jonathan Adams; son John Gregory Adams; and brothers Butch Meadows, Don Meadows, and Bill Meadows.
The funeral service will be Sunday, October 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Donald Terry officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:45, October 13, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ricky Adams, Terry Bevers, Ted Bevers, Michael Meadows, Billy Miller, and Wayne McElyea. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams loved making floral arrangements, playing cards, crafting, and cooking. She also loved her family and friends.
