Visitation for Reba Johnson Collins, age 88, of Fayetteville will be 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Higgins Funeral Home. No funeral service will be held. Mrs. Collins passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Bailey Manor Assisted Living.
She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Lee and Bessie Taylor Johnson.
Mrs. Collins retired from the State of Tennessee in 1990 and then worked for the Lincoln County Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Michael Engle; sisters Sally Whitt, Velma Syler, and Barbara Stewman; and a brother Robert Johnson.
Survivors include her sister Catherine J. Campbell of Fayetteville; brother Illife Wayne Johnson of Nashville; several nieces and nephews; and special niece/caregiver Cathy (Max) Raby.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fayetteville Animal Shelter 1718 Pulaski Hwy, Fayetteville, TN 37334 or to the Fayetteville Lincoln Co. Senior Center 908 Washington St. W., Fayetteville, TN 37334.
