Reba Dale Wilson Mathis, age 91, of Gadsden, AL passed away on Friday, June 09, 2023. A graveside service will be held at 2:30PM on Monday, June 12, 2023 at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Brother Bob Hundley will officiate. The family will accepts friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the funeral home on Monday. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Reba loved to cook and host her families Thanksgivings and Christmases. She was an avid quilter and a member of Gadsden Outliers guild. Reba loved her family dearly and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Palestine and George Montgomery; sons, George Thomas Neal Mosley, and Sherman Dale Wilson.
She is survived by her sister, Veali Ann Holtcamp; children, Linda Reynolds, Judy (Andy) Anderson, and Joyce (Bob) Kevas; grandchildren, Reba Reynolds, Angela (Ronnie) Bouldin, Jacade (Susan) Reynolds, Brandi Anderson, Adam (Hayley) Anderson, and Christina Mosley Broome; 11 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jacade Reynolds, Adam Anderson, and Caleb Holderfield.
Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Anderson and Bob Kevas.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to Amedysis Hospice and Brandi Anderson for taking great care of her.
