Mrs. Reba Austin Taylor, 91, died peacefully Dec. 22, 2012, at Riverside Senior Living in Decatur.
Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Greenview Funeral Home, Florence, Ala., followed by the service at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Reba was born in Lauderdale County and graduated from Central High School, then worked for several years at First National Bank.
She and her husband, George Raymond Taylor, were longtime members of First Baptist Church of Florence.
Survivors include son, Charles R. Taylor and his wife, Mickey, of Decatur, Ala.; son, Larry W. Taylor, of Coopersburg, Pa.; grandson, Jonathan A. Taylor, of Decatur, Ala.; numerous nieces and nephews; and wonderful friends.
Second youngest in her family of nine children, Reba was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; sister, Althea Chowning; and brothers, Lloyd, Earl, Doug, John, Coy, Robert and J.R.
Austin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association or to First Baptist Church of Florence.
