Funeral service for Raynell Stricklin Kirby, “Maw Maw”, age 80, will be Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Mike Jones officiating. Burial will be in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, October 14, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kirby, who passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014, at her residence was born July 12, 1934, in Lawrence County to Roy Bascomb Stricklin and Sarah Lucille Jones. She was a mother, homemaker and seamstress and she enjoyed cooking, sewing and music. Her church affiliation was Midway Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy James Kirby; daughter, Sue Corum; and son, Justin Kirby.

Survivors include daughters, Donna Kaylor (Phil), Belinda Kirby; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchilden and two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wallace and Hollis Stricklin.

Pallbearers will be Craig Blaxton, Patrick Glennon, Tyler L. Corum, Chase Corum, Eric Harris and Steven Melson.

Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Montgomery and Greg Johnson.
