raymond-roach-obituaryRaymond Leon Roach of Adamsville, TN was born on March 6, 1933 in Decatur County, TN to Clovis (Britt) and Leslie Roach. He entered into rest on March 14, 2014.

He is survived by his wife Peggy (Owens) Roach; two sisters, Sue Rainey of Milledgeville, TN, Imogene Landers of Sikeston, MO; five children, Mike Roach and wife Linda of Fairfield, OK, Debbie Scruggs and husband Kelly of Liberal, KS, Rickie Roach of Byhalia, MS, Gary Roach and wife Kim of Cincinnati, OH, Jimmy Roach and wife Lorinda of Pickwick Dam, TN; adopted daughter/granddaughter Carrie (Roach) Millsap and husband Joseph; grandchildren, Brandon Moody, Timmy Roach, Tiffany, Steven, and Lee Roach, Shaylee May; great grandchildren, Riley, Deegan, Zane, Zack, Callie, Ellie, Aydian.

Mr. Roach was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and five children.

Raymond was a member of Faith Pointe Church in Adamsville. He retired in 1998 from Kolpak in Selmer, TN. He loved his farm, his cows, and doing woodwork. If the weather permitted, he was always in his shop at the barn. He loved fishing and telling tales every chance that he got. His greatest passion was his family and children. His family said “he was always there to fix our problems by listening or letting us talk it through”. Raymond was a caring, loving, and gentle man, a wonderful husband, and father. Everyone that met him always fell in love with him because of his sense of humor.
