Raymond-Crangle-1425841465Mr. Raymond Crangle, age 80 of Bolivar passed from this life in Jackson, TN, Saturday night March, 7, 2015.

A native of McNairy County, he was born July 13, 1934 to the late William Howard and Edith Belle Stallings Crangle. After moving to Hardeman County in 1950, he graduated from Bolivar Central High School in 1953. He married Jean McKinnie on June 18, 1960 who survives. He served his country in the US Army and was a member of Bolivar First Baptist Church where he attended Dr. Berryman’s Sunday School class. He was a member of the Optimist Club; enjoyed golf, fishing, yard work and watching Fox News. He was a former meat cutter and a licensed insurance and real estate agent.

Along with his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Julie McAfee and her husband Tom of Macon, GA; 3 brothers, Jerry Crangle and his wife Jane of Chattanooga, Johnny Crangle and his wife Debbie of Las Vegas, NV, and Tommy Crangle and his wife Pamper of Signal Mountain, TN; 2 granddaughters, Caroline Zoe and Mary Malin McAfee of Macon, GA; a sister-in-law and her husband, R. C. and Caroline Rogers of Bolivar and a brother in law Curtis L. McKinnie of Birmingham; and by several nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorials may be sent to Bolivar First Baptist Church Building Fund.
