Raymond Clifton Hallmark, 82, Leighton, AL departed this life October 23, 2015 to claim his mansion our father has prepared. He was a member of the Hopewell Church of Christ where he served as an elder for many years and attended all his life. He retired from Reynolds Metal Company and worked on his farm.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Claudie Hallmark; sister, Vernon Dickens; brother, Bobby Hallmark; son-in-law, Frankie Minor.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years Sue Hallmark; son, Harlon (Brenda); daughter, Susan Minor all of Leighton; grandsons, Philip Hallmark (Ashley) of Russellville and Matthew Hallmark (Jessica) of Union, KY; great-grandchildren, Robbie, Jaxon, Kaiden, Keifer, Brynlee, Myka, Zaylie; sister, Betty Flanagan of Muscle Shoals; special nephews, Bryan Vandiver (Sophia), Donald Parker (Reese) and a host of loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel with Bro. Danny Winningham and Bro. Doris Chaney officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Philip Hallmark, Matthew Hallmark, Buddy Coan, Dwain Clement, Tommy Howard, Leland Kidd, Milton Amos, Chris Watson, and Raymond Clement.
Honorary pallbearers will be all in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends that have shown him unconditional love during his life.
