Raymond Aday, Jr.

Raymond Aday, Jr., 67, of Douglasville, GA, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 13th, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Glendale Cemetery, Leighton, AL.

Raymond was a native of Iuka, MS, and former resident of the Shoals. He was a retired Roadmaster with Norfolk Southern Railway. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Aday; daughter, Amanda Aday; parents, Raymond and Lucille Aday; and sister, Melissa Preston.

He is survived by his children, Ramona Osborn and Raymond Aday, III; brothers, Rickey Aday (Diane) and Stephen Aday; sisters, Sandra Romans (Jimmy), Sheila Hill (Mike), and Hollie Hogan (Rick); brother-in-law, Leland Preston; grandchildren, Tyler Osborn, Rachel Osborn, Kyler Aday, and Sadie Aday; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
