Mr. Ray Walton Osborne, age 87 of Albertville, passed away at his home Sunday, August 06, 2023. A Visitation will be held Saturday evening, August 12, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Albertville, there Mr. Osborne will lie-in-state at 1:00 p.m. till the time of service. Reverend Mark Adams and Reverend Barry Dunn will be officiating the service, and burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery of Albertville.
He is survived by his wife Rhonda Slaton Osborne; daughter Jo Ellen Jordan; step-daughter Anna Floyd; step-son Jarrod Floyd (Melanie); grandchildren Matthew Boomershine (Rachael), Mary Katherine Boomershine Harris (Taylor), Bryson Shelton, Kade Shelton, Mac Floyd, and Jay Floyd; and great granddaughter Addeline Jo Boomershine.
Mr. Osborne was preceded in death by his parents Theodore and Mildred Jakes Osborne; wife Josephine Osborne; daughter Mary Beth Osborne; and sister Dovie Osborne Beams.
Pallbearers will include; John Chastain, Frank McDaniel, Johnny Brewer, Jerry Rowe, Jeff Boomershine, Gabe Johnson, Brian Ham & Bret Slaton; Honorary Pallbearers, Sen. Clay Scofield, David Cook, Ingrid Galloway, Dr. Andy Finlay, Carol Cook & Sadie Todd.
