A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Ray King, 85, will be Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Dr. Scotty Hogan officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. King passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at his residence. He was born July 23, 1939, in Morgan County, to William Orman King and Francis Inez McCaghren King.
He was employed by Delta Airlines, as a Manager for the Mechanics, working on Jet Engines, prior to his retirement. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who proudly served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He was an avid Alabama football Fan.
Preceding him in death were his parents Orman and Inez King and a nephew; Lynn King.
