Funeral services for Randy Siggers, age 61, of Wadley, will be held Saturday May 27, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Gilead Community Church with Bro. Larry Conger, Bro. Ben Milam, and Bro. Jimmy Brand officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Siggers passed away at Regional Medical Center in Anniston May 21, 2023. He was a hardworking man that enjoyed picking on those that he liked and one of his favorite pastimes was fishing. Randy was a longtime member of Mt. Gilead Community Church and served 6 years in the National Guard. He was a truck driver and in heavy equipment maintenance for most of his life both independently and recently with Industree Pole and Piling and Central Alabama Wood Products as a Barco Loader Operator.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years Laretha Siggers; his daughters, Anna Siggers of Ashland (and her mother, Jan Taylor of Fayetteville) and Sara Siggers (Gage) of Jacksonville; his son Phillip Siggers of Wadley; his grandchildren, Lauren Siggers, Jasper McDaniel, and one on the way Emberly McDaniel; his sisters Cathy Coker (Lynn) of Abanda, Rita Brand (Jimmy) of Wadley, Vickie Crawford (Roger) of Wadley, Patricia Anderson (Wayne) of Stone Mtn, GA; one brother, David Siggers (Betty) of Albertville; plus a large extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas Siggers and his mother Betty Caldwell Siggers and one niece DeAnne Moncus.
Pallbearers will be Wyatt Morris, Steve Price, John Price, Colton Looser, Wesley Morris, Clint Morris, John David Siggers, and John Tyler Siggers.
Visitation will be held on Friday May 26, 2023 from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville and from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church.
