Randy Ray Wright, 64, passed away –July 13 2024 at 6:30 am, at home on Hospice, surrounded by his loved ones, and friends. He was born on November 24th 1959 to the late Gilbert Wright, and the late Mildred Wright (Hebert). He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Verona Ms. Randy was known as Two Step by his friend and family, But he loved to be called Pawpaw by his grandchildren. Randy drove a truck over the road for many many years, he decided to retire from trucking and work close to home when his first grandchild was born. He then went to work for Andy Hodges Construction and worked for 10 years, He always considered Andy and Robin as family instead of employer. Randy loved to ride his Harley Davidson Motorcycle with his buddies and just hang out. He always wanted to take his grandson fishing one day but health seemed to get in the way.
Funeral services, celebrating his life will be at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo. Visitation will be held on Monday July 15th from 11-2 and service will be held at 2 PM with Bro Keith Bass, and Bro William Bass officiating.
He is survived by the love of his life of 37 years Brenda Wright, His twin sister Sandy Kay Wright
3 sons Nicholas Wright his wife Cookie of Saltillo, Justin Wright and his wife Bethany of Blue Springs, And Jacob Wright of Saltillo., He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren Peyton Wright, Andaa Wright, Endoo Wright, Tucker Wright, Becket Wright and Noah James Wright, His also has 2 children he claims as his grandchildren Jovan Bass, and Alegiha Bass of Booneville Ms.
Neices and Nephew and cousin he loved with all his heart, He did hold a special bond with 3 nephew Keith Bass, Danile Bass and David Wright.
He was preceded in death by his Parents James Gibert Wright SR. and Mildred Hebert (Wright)
brothers Bobby Wright, James Gilbert Wright Jr(Jimmy), and Charles Cudd (Chuck)
