Randy Joe Rutledge, 59, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. He was retired from Vestavia Fire Dept and local law enforcement.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Bob Holley will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his Father-Joseph R. Rutledge (Joe); Grandparents-Leroy and Gretel Ferrell and M.P. & Eunice Gwin; Aunt-Gennette F. Meeks.
He is survived by his Wife-Lauralie Rutledge; Mother-I.V. Rutledge; Daughter-Abbie Jo Rutledge; Two stepdaughters-Rosalie Alfano Lopez (Danny) and Emilie Alfano; Three step-grandchildren; Aunts-Virginia Parker, Martha Moon, Mary Pike; Host of Cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Danny Lopez, Keith Pike, Hilton Shirey, Aaron Hunt, Rusty Richardson, and Dayron Bridges.
